About our venues
The oldest glasshouse in NSW
Built in 1876, Palm House is the oldest glasshouse in New South Wales. It was originally used to display tropical and subtropical palms and ferns. The iron and glass structure was also a symbol of innovation, showing off both plant collections and engineering advances.
